Where: House of Vans
The Old Vic Tunnels, the cavernous space underneath Waterloo station, used to be an arts and performance space. It's now been taken over by the famous footwear brand Vans, who have turned it into an entertainment centre complete with a skate park.
They offer lots of amusements, including free skating sessions, live bands and free film screenings. There are all genres of movies, from urban-inspired documentaries to brand new big box office films and classics like Pretty Woman. They also host exhibitions with a focus on street culture, and there's a cafe serving American-inspired dishes like chicken and waffles and savoury biscuits with gravy.
