Perfect for little ones – and their families - who have perhaps grown up so surrounded by city life that they have forgotten where their Sunday roast actually comes from… Hackney City Farm is a plethora of stinky pigs, nosy goats, lazy sheep and mooing cows. There’s a chance to get up close and personal with the animals at 4pm (Tuesdays to Sundays) when feeding time gets underway – but just a wander around, getting to know the animals before re-entering the big smoke is pretty special.
