Where: Viewpoint
Developers have done a lot to invigorate the area surrounding King's Cross station and turn it into a destination. One of the attractions is the Viewpoint on Regent's Canal, a floating platform that looks part Scandi cabin part wigwam (it was in fact commissioned by the Finnish Institute). With two sheltered benches, it's a novel spot to take a picnic and look for the canal's wildlife, which includes ducks, swans and other birds.
