At the RAF Museum there is a whole lot to do but for all the education, Air Force photography and other events nothing beats the aircraft. With over 100 planes on display you won’t find a better collection of Britain’s airborne military history anywhere else in the world.
Fans of aviation will no doubt get a kick from seeing the life-sized model of the F-35 Strike Fighter Jet, Vulcan Bomber and a collection of more historical planes. Once you’re done you can leave on the back of the Winston Churchill ‘Battle of Britain’ speech before striding anon with renewed pride, or something like that.
