The Southbank Centre remains closed, but there's a wealth of virtual exhibitions, podcasts, talks and music available on their website, including a collection of online events and archive material related to black history and the Black Lives Matter movement.
All free to explore, they include an inspiring interview with one of the founders of Black Lives Matter, a playlist of revolutionary songs curated by performers for a previous concert at Queen Festival Hall, the Chineke! orchestra performing a moving tribute to George Floyd, Breona Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery, and the tales of three activists discussing meeting Nelson Mandela and fighting apartheid.
