Where: The Terrace, Alexandra Palace
Alexandra Palace is, deservedly, one of London's best-loved attractions. In the summer months it becomes even more appealing - with the terrace at its Phoenix Bar & Kitchen eatery. Not only does this have tremendous views (the Palace sits around 90 metres above sea level), it is also one of the capital's biggest beer gardens with an impressive 1500 square metres, so no jostling for space to see the panorama.
The menu focuses on stone-fired pizzas and food is served till 10pm to accomodate post-show hunger pangs.
