If, like us, you’re obsessed with the Great Pottery Throwdown then chances are you spend your free time dreaming of getting messy in your own pottery studio a la the movie Ghost. And while most of us obviously don’t have our own pottery studio at the bottom of our garden, fortunately there are places in London you can find them.
Like Clay Kiln Craft in Crystal Palace. Running Wednesday night and Saturday classes, the South London pottery studio is the place to go to hone your skills. Hand building and throwing are both afforded as much attention as each other in the lessons and once you’re done you get to take home whatever you create – after the kiln has had its way.
