The Walthamstow Beer Mile (or Blackhorse Beer Mile depending how precise you want to be), is a stretch on and around Blackhorse Lane currently featuring five breweries (there are more planned to open in the future) where you can drink on the premises, take beers away, eat and in some cases watch bands and hear DJs.
Among these is Truman's Social Club, styled like a Bavarian beer hall with a microbrewery and beer garden on site; and the Exale Brewery Taproom, which prides itself on using foraged ingredients from Epping Forest.
