Well the National Theatre lets you watch what all the backstage goings-on with a bird's eye view. Entering via the elevated Sherling Backstage Walkway, you'll get to see where the props are stored, watch sets as they are constructed, and visit an exhibition that details every step of the process of producing a show, from commissioning to opening night. Best of all it's completely free, and you can visit any time during the day from Monday to Saturday.
