About the event

Since its foundation in 2003, London Design Festival has celebrated and promoted London as the design capital of the world. Now in its fifteenth year, the Festival will be returning to venues and institutions across the capital between 16-24 September, from the V&A Museum to Somerset House. With eight Design Districts and five Design Destinations, alongside nearly 500 partner institutions, there will be a vast array of opportunities spread across London, offering an unparalleled opportunity to experience contemporary designers and design. At its core, London Design Festival is democratic; with its immense production quite literally changing the landscape of the capital over a ten day period, a vast majority of its events are free to access and attend, giving Londoners and visitors unparalleled access to modern design.

A major part of the London Design Festival’s programme is the presentation of Landmark Projects in various locations in London. These site-specific installations not only demonstrate the imaginative capacity of designers but also present the potential breadth of design ideas to a diverse audience.
