On Friday 29th October, Regulate dubstep will be opening Brixton Mass's doors for the first time. With a line up that boasts performances from some
of the scenes most prominent figures, you can be sure to expect nothing less than a night of big, greasy, dubstep basslines!

Introducing Hench records head honcho himself – DJ JAKES – Jakes is many things to many people…to some he is the voice of TC’s smash hits ‘Deep’, ‘Drink’ and ‘Mind killer’, to others he is the Daddy of Bristolian Dubstep crew H.E.N.C.H, and to musical historians he is one of the most interesting vocalists that underground British music can lay claim to.

Never afraid to break from tradition, Jakes’ has become one of the most recognisable in the game. His energetic live DJ performances see him travelling across the globe and smacking down raves from Bristol to Boston in his inimitable style.

To make this launch extra special were bringing in arguably the best MC Duo the UK has ever seen, and Dizzie Rascals' partners in crime, The Newham Generals (D Double E & Footsie).

Straight off the back of producing digital soundboys 'Hard'– one of the biggest dubstep tracks of 2010 – The 'Gen's' indelible blend of homespun beats and black cockney verbal wizardry is about to spray-paint the London town of Brixton onto Britain’s musical map again with a toxic flourish. The dirty Stank duo will be partnering Jakes, in what is guaranteed to be one of the most exciting sets of 2010!

Kromestar is one of the biggest names in the Dubstep scene today, with a number of high profiled releases on some of the most well respected and scene shaping labels in the genre; including 'Deep Medi Musik', 'Dub Stars', 'Dub Steppers' 'Bare Dubs', Marxmen Dubs', 'F1 Dubs' and 'South Side' records.

Well known for his unique and extremely diverse and precise production, his mixing style complements and lives up to his reputation. Kromestar is one of the most sort after DJ’s on the circuit, with shows and tours around the globe and guest slots on radio shows, including BBC 1xtra and the world famous Rinse FM. You can be sure another Regulate highlight will be Kromestar taking to the decks.

Having built an enviable back catalogue of dark, deadly drum & bass, the production duo of Si & Leon aka Kryptic Minds have quickly established a foothold
in the exploding global dubstep scene. As the flagship artists on Loefah DMZ’s label Swamp 81, their 12” album “One of Us” continue dubstep’s tradition
for stone-cold halfstep, flying against the dance floor’s natural urges for momentum and release. Instead they unleash fearsome sub bass assaults that lead listeners into an edgy otherworld and have become staples of sets by halfstep innovator Youngsta as well as Loefah himself. East London producer and DJ Sukh Knight, has made a massive impact on the dubstep scene since emerging in 2008 with his first realease on True Tiger records.
Named as one of the best newcomers that year and then going on to releasing several sell-out EP's on True Tiger recordings which have included features from David Rodigan and Jahcoozi. Sukh Knight has also received massive rotation from the likes of N-type, Plastician, Hatcha, Nihal, Newham Generals, Maryanne Hobbs, Sinden
amongst other key DJ's.
This year alone has seen Sukh' rise to the top of his game by releasing the extraordinary track 'Slang like this' Featuring P' Money on the vocals.
'Slang like this' exploded the dubstep sound onto Britain's biggest music station- radio one. It was a regular in Mista Jam's famous 1 xtra show and was a favourite in none other than Fearne Cotton's radio one breakfast show!

FuntCase has only been in the dubstep scene for a hot minute but is already making a very solid impact on the scene. Since starting his dubstep creations back in July 09, FuntCase has produced some of the filthiest, and most upbeat tunes out there, causing his popularity to rise massively in a very short space of time.
Now a new addition to the Circus Records crew, it seems his hard work has paid off, visiting numerous nights around the UK and the world in areas such as France, Belgium and Romania. Of courseeeeee, no-one rises this fast without the help of the big heads within the scene and FuntCase is supported by some of the biggest, With the likes of N-Type, Hatcha, Pendulum, Chase and Status, Rusko, Crissy Criss, Mista Jam, Trolley Snatcha, Datsik, Excision and more, the future looks very bright for this new and exciting talent.

Wo, wo, wohhh!!!!! Crazy D is the MC of choice for many of dubstep's hottest artists, such as Hatcha, N-Type and Benga. Holding down the mic for FWD and DMZ, he also appears weekly on his highly regarded Kiss 100 FM dubstep show with Hatcha.
