West End Live

West End Live, the Leicester Square event that offers two free days of the very best in West End entertainment will be taking place on the 17th & 18th June 2006.

Several top West End shows will be performing - among them CHICAGO, MAMMA MIA!, THE LION KING, GUYS AND DOLLS, STOMP, THE PRODUCERS, FOOTLOOSE and BLUE MAN GROUP. There will also be music and dance contributions from The Royal Philharmonic, Ronnie Scott's, Sadler's Wells, The 100 Club, Wigmore Hall and other key West End venues.

But it's a lot more than just a stage show. Fantastic interactive exhibits and displays will provide an incredible variety of family entertainment throughout the weekend. Madame Tussauds, the Theatre Museum, Hamleys, the British Film Institute and many others will be contributing, along with a host of entertainers from magicians to make-over artists and storytellers to stuntmen.


With media partners Capital Radio, Capital Gold and MTV on board, this year's event is likely to surpass last year's figures, having reached around 500,000 people.

West End Live, Westminster City Council's entertainment showcase for the West End, is the must-see event in London this summer.
