Ice Skating at Somerset House

London's original and beautiful open-air ice rink returns to Somerset House right in the heart of central London.

Somerset House ice rink has become London's winter icon – whether you're an able skater or an absolute beginner it's the essential winter experience.

This year there's a rich and varied programme, with plenty of new opportunities for everyone to get their skates on. There are special DJ nights in November and January, Children's Hour on Saturday mornings and flexible weekday sessions when you can drop in during your lunch break. That's in addition to our popular Late Skate and Student Skate sessions, and a programme of free skating for schools and community groups.
