Down the hatch without a scratch… World Sword Swallowers Day returns to the Capital
On 23 February 2013, one of the world’s finest sword swallowers will give a free demonstration of the ancient art in the heart of the West End – and promise to leave the crowds open-mouthed too.
Daredevil sword swallower El Lurchio will feature in the UK leg of the annual celebration, which will also take place at 20 other locations around the world at the same time.
In total, 20 sword swallowers are expected to perform outside 11 Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! attractions, including Hollywood, New York and Orlando. All events will begin at 14.23 local time on 23 February 2013.
The sword swallowing performance will take place at Ripley’s Believe it or Not! London at 14.23.
