Black Robin Opera presents the first great English opera, Purcell's much-loved 'Dido and Aeneas' which retells Virgil's tale of the tragic love affair between Dido, Queen of Carthage and Aeneas, the Trojan Prince destined to found Carthage's great enemy, Rome.
Becca Marriott and Milo Harries perform the title roles, with Charli Baptie as Belinda, Sarah Denbee as the Sorceress, supported by a talented young cast of vocal students and graduates from Trinity Laban Conservatoire and a five-piece instrumental ensemble.
