Dressmaking Skills 2

This course is a follow on from our Dressmaking Basics 1, perfect for those that can thread a machine and sew confidently. During the 5 two-hour sessions you will be taken through more advanced finishes such as invisible zips, bound buttonholes, welt pockets as well as various garment construction techniques such as fitting sleeves, cuffs, pleats, ruffles, advanced overlocking and much more. Here you will build up a portfolio of skills, hand outs and samples, which you can then utilise in your dressmaking projects in the future. Please note that you will not be making garments in this course but learning a vast array of technique mock ups that you will be able to keep and refer to!
