Classical Coffe Morning: Ben Excell

Ben is a Leverhulme Orchestral Mentor supported by a Soirée d'Or Award at the Royal College of Music where he studies bassoon with Andrea di Flammineis, Julie Price and Martin Gatt. In November 2012 he won the Royal College of Music Concerto Competition and will be performing Mozart's Bassoon Concerto in July 2013. Alongside his Masters degree course he frequently performs with professional orchestras including the Co-Opera Company, Britten Pears Orchestra, Kentish Opera and the Charities Philharmonia. Ben is also a passionate chamber musician playing with a variety of different ensembles including the Arnold Camerata.
