Canada Day, one of London’s favourite free summer festivals, returns to Trafalgar Square on 1 July with great food and some of the country’s best musical artists.

Canadian music legends Jann Arden, Arkells, The Sheepdogs and The Tragically Hip are the headliners for the famous free evening concert. Other great Canadian musicians Ben Caplan, Old Man Luedecke and USS will be entertaining guests in the afternoon.

Canada’s 146th birthday could not be celebrated without its national pastime. The James R Wright road hockey tournament is back again with eight teams competing for the Trafalgar Cup. The festival will also feature a lululemon yoga class, face painting for the kids, appearances by Royal Canadian Mounted Police and much more.

From morning pancakes with maple syrup to late night dance beats, the celebration brings Canada to life all day and in every which way for the public to enjoy.
