To mark Paul’s Cancer Support Centre’s 30th Anniversary, the Royal Wimbledon Golf Club will be hosting a Charity Golf Day on the 20th June, with the Centre as the beneficiary. This is a great opportunity for golfers to tee-off at the third oldest golf club in England, whilst raising money for a worthwhile cause. Paul’s Cancer Support Centre provides quality services to help people affected by cancer, (including relatives, friends and carers) to find new strength, resilience and their own way of coping with cancer.

The beautiful Royal Wimbledon Golf Course has a rich history embracing both the evolution of the Club and the game of golf. People are invited to play in teams of 4 but single entries are welcome. The cost is £125 per player, which includes breakfast and the famous Royal Wimbledon Golf Club lunch. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 players. The event promises to be a memorable experience of relaxation and fun whether you are a professional golfer or novice at the game.

Petra Griffiths, Director, Paul’s Cancer Support Centre comments: “We are delighted the Royal Wimbledon Golf Club has chosen the Centre to be the beneficiary for its annual charity event. Paul’s was the first cancer support centre to open in London and serves a wide community providing support, education, complementary therapies and online resources. All funds raised will make a real difference to people faced with the challenge of cancer.”
