Veteran New York actor Chuck Muckle brings composer-actor-author Oscar Levant to life in AT WIT’S END, a one-man show written by Joel Kimmel. In this darkly funny, tender and tragic production, Oscar Levant returns to the stage after an institutionalized absence. His anecdotes, wry musings and sterling musicianship are all summoned in an effort to get through the evening.

Oscar Levant was the “enfant terrible” of radio and TV shows, the second-banana costar of classic films from AN AMERICAN IN PARIS to THE BARKLEYS OF BROADWAY to THE BANDWAGON. He was an accomplished musician, author and bon vivant. He thrived in the very limelight that brought out his demons: hypochondria, neurosis, addiction to prescription drugs and depression. And unlike others in that era, he was forthcoming about his various maladies.

Joel Kimmel has written for the TV shows "The Love Boat," "Facts of Life" and "Webster," among many others.

Chuck Muckle (WUTHERING HEIGHTS) has appeared in the post-Broadway National Tour of CAMELOT with Robert Goulet and the National Tour of SOUTH PACIFIC, also with Mr. Goulet; he has also toured with Sam Harris (JOSEPH AND HIS AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT) and John Astin (CHRISTMAS CAROL) and has played lead roles in NY and regional theatre, including JUDGMENT AT NUREMBERG, CABARET and LEND ME A TENOR.
