A Community Art Exhibition where the public are invited to participate in the painting of three large structures made from Polystine.

TITLE OF THE STRUCTURES:

JENNY FROM THE BLOCK
WHAT THE …. IS IT
UNTITLED (TO BE SOLD WHEN COMPLETED AND PROCEEDINGS DONATED TO CANCER RESEARCH)

The work consists of taking discarded building materials: wood, sash-cords, pipecladding etc., from my job in construction - to create large constructs which are then painted in vibrant colours.

My work is all about using recycled materials to bring Art into the Environment.

This particular installation is all about public participation. Existing structure will be painted by anyone who wishes to get involved.

The last day will be ending with a magnificent Final Show to include other pieces of my work.

This is a wonderful opportunity. Art needs to be seen not hidden away in galleries. Everyone should have the opportunity to create Art. It’s never too late or too early. Art adds vibrancy to communities and public spaces.
