A romp through the social carnage left in the wake of a murdered King. The Diggers start to plant on St George’s Hill as the Ranters proclaim ecstasy and anarchy as being Godly. Cromwell, meanwhile turns his sight to a bloody campaign in Ireland. If not to join up, what alternatives are there for a poor man without money or food to feed his family?
