The world’s best one-day sides will be battling it out over the next three weeks for the much coveted ICC Champions Trophy, but you can get your hands on it on Tuesday!

The ICC Champions Trophy is the most prestigious 50-over tournament after the Cricket World Cup and will see England, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, South Africa and the West Indies battle it out to lift the trophy.

However, the trophy itself will be in London today where cricket fans can have their photograph taken with it in front of the official ICC Champions Trophy logo board. The trophy will be at the Walkabout sports bar on Temple Embankment between 5.30pm and 9pm, along with an official photographer to capture the moment. This is one of only three times the trophy will be seen in public before being lifted by the winning captain.

The tournament itself starts on Thursday 6th June with India taking on South Africa at the Cardiff Wales Stadium, and runs for 18 days with the final at Edgbaston on Sunday 23rd June. Part of an action packed summer of cricket, it sees England attempt to win their first global 50-over tournament on their own patch.

Matches take place at the Cardiff Wales Stadium, Edgbaston and The Oval, but for those unable to make it, Walkabout is the best place to watch every ball. All venues have giant HD screens, over 30 TVs around the bar, commentary that’s always loud enough to be heard, great food and an awesome atmosphere.

Chris Hancock, manager of the Walkabout bar said: “Having the cricket up the road is going to be fantastic but having the trophy in our bar is out of this world and a must-see for all local cricket fans.”
