The first in a series of ‘It’s Just One Big Disco’ free basements parties takes place in Dalston on Sat 15th June. The Blue print is simple with London party stalwalts Jac the Disco (Killed Cowboys) and Neil Thornton (Lasermagnetic, Discovery) at the helm you know this is going to
be one of those decadent fun fuelled nights. it is really going to be ‘ Just One Big Disco’ at the Tipsy Basement space.

Party purveyor Jay Rossi is not unfamiliar with throwing a shindig or two, with a former club night under his belt which he hosted in 2007 with former DJ partner Prince Pac of Legendary Children. Their previous guests read like a who’s who in dance music and included the likes of Duke Dumont, Brondinski, Friendly Fires, We Have Band, Yuksek, Zombie Disco Squad, as well as up and coming and breaking artists at the time such as Fench Soler, Radio 1’s Andy George and Daniel Avery.

Having been influenced by his clubbing experience during the mid 90’s where he was exposed to the likes of Clive Henry, Danny Rampling, Lottie, Farley and Heller and many others who were all regulars to Bournemouth’s south coast party scene. This fuelled his passion for collecting vinyl and after a chance meeting with Prince Pac in Devon in 2006 led to the beginnings of Jac the Disco.

After making a debut at Fabric, London in 2010 for the Filthy Duke’s and their infamous club night ‘Kill Em All’ helped to solidify his ability not only to educate but to entertain. Going on to play a host of parties around the world and being billed with the likes of Hot Chip, Juan Maclean, Ray Mang, Digitalism, Greg Wilson, Cosmic Kids, Riton, Cage and Avery, Rory Phillips, Mystery Jets and many more. Resident DJ, programmer and blogger for the team behind Cornish club Brand ‘My Heroes Killed Cowboys’ .
