Jukebox Story is a night of irreverent storytelling and comedy inspired by pop songs. A mixtape of tall tales that take you to a time, a place, a hairstyle.

For our next show we're performing stories inspired by Summer Hits: songs that either mention summer or that were released while you were on that glorious beach holiday or drizzly weekend in Margate. Cruel Summer, Boys Of Summer, anything by the Beach Boys, what will make the final cut...?

Jukebox Story have put out a call to London's writers and the best submitted stories will be performed by regular hosts Steve Keyworth and Stephanie Gerra. The winning story as voted for by the audience will receive the coveted Jukebox Story USB mixtape and be published on the Future Perfect website.

All this, plus comedy, games music and prizes...

Stephanie Gerra is a founder member of both Future Perfect and Bloomsbury Voices and writes for UKTV and BBC Worldwide. Steve Keyworth has worked extensively as a stand-up comedian, as well as writing plays for Radio 4 and episodes of EastEnders and Casualty.
