The House of Champagne Perrier-Jouët Presents: Acclaimed ceramicist, Hitomi Hosono’s solo exhibition

Celebrating its distinctive Art Nouveau* heritage and continuing its longstanding association with the Arts, the luxury boutique Champagne House of Perrier-Jouët is proud to announce the solo exhibition of Hitomi Hosono, inaugural winner of the Perrier-Jouët Arts Salon Prize.

Hosono is a London-based ceramicist who was selected by the Perrier-Jouët Arts Salon members from a shortlist of 12 candidates, nominated by leaders within contemporary craft.

The Perrier-Jouët Arts Salon, made up of 13 of the UK’s foremost creative influencers, chose Hosono for her fulfilment of the criteria to evoke a contemporary interpretation of the Art Nouveau spirit of the House of Champagne Perrier-Jouët:

“It is a true honour to receive the Perrier-Jouët Arts Salon Prize, which will allow me to engage with new and inspiring experiences, and enable me to pursue creative challenges within my craft,” said Hosono.
Hosono graduated from the Royal College of Art, London, in 2009 with an MA in Ceramics & Glass, and is inspired by the natural beauty of plants and flowers.
Her acclaimed ceramics find their place in the private collections of the likes of Stella McCartney Ltd, Liberty and Fortnum & Mason.

Hosono’s beautiful ceramics will be displayed at the members-only St Pancras Renaissance Hotel Chambers Club from 25 June – 4 August 2013.
