Cheating Complacency

Complacency is a feeling of self-satisfaction, combined with an
unawareness of danger or trouble. The notion of feeling comfortable
in a constantly shifting environment. The multi-disciplinary artists
present in this show aim to break, or "cheat" this feeling out of
its fulfilment via the production of a show outside of their academic
requirements. Utilising work that is both old and new, and from
artists of different background and courses, the show aims to keep
the mind sharp and focussed in a time that yearns for relaxation.
