Oh What a Lovely War

50 years after its premiere on 19 March 1963 at Theatre Royal Stratford East, Organised Crime Theatre is delighted to present our version of the classic West End and Broadway musical at one of London’s finest off-west end venues, The Courtyard Theatre.

This landmark satirical musical is an entertaining and exuberant ride through the ironies and tragedies of the First World War. Created in 1963 by director Joan Littlewood and her company Theatre Workshop, Oh What A Lovely War is a truly original portrait of the conflict that changed the shape of our world forever. This is fun-filled storytelling with a tough, dark heart.
