FREE SHAKESPEARE IN RUSSELL SQUARE

As part of the RADA Summer Festival, BURNTOUT THEATRE company will present four free open air performances of Shakespeare’s As You Like It and A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Russell Square this June.

The performances are free, open to all, and suitable for all ages. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a traditional Elizabethan dress performance, and As You Like It has a 1920s setting; both are accompanied by an original score played live by emerging composer James Reynolds (ITV, C4, SKY Movies)
BurntOut Theatre was founded by RADA graduates and is made up of talented actors, singers and musicians. These central London performances in June will follow a regional tour of open-air venues in Surrey, Gloucestershire and Dorset at which we will be fundraising for charities such as the MS Trust and the Wintershall Charitable Trust.
Come along to Russell Square with your rugs, folding chairs and picnics and enjoy some fantastic free performances!
The Italian Café in the square will be open serving drinks and a delicious selection of hot and cold food.
