Come and find out about the ancient Mesopotamian 'Epic of the Anzu Bird,’ a tale that is over 4,000 years old! A variety of activities will be on offer, including making cartoon strips of the story, creating Anzu amulets, and making and decorating masks of characters, with a mini performance at the end of the afternoon, as well as learning some beginners’ cuneiform!

Suitable for 4-14 year olds, but all ages are welcome to join in. Stay for the whole afternoon, or drop-in when you like.

Organised by The British Institute for the Study of Iraq, for the The Iraqi Cultural Centre - UK.
