Chaos Theory is delighted to bring you this special event featuring this internationally acclaimed singer and songwriter.

JARBOE is widely known for her work in experimental band Swans and her collaboration with an extensive and eclectic roster of artists, such as Neurosis, A Perfect Circle, Michael Gira, Merzbow, Lustmord, Zöe Keating, Jesu, Steven Severin, Cobalt and many, many more as part of an ever growing list.

She has released 26 solo albums exploring a range of styles and has performed some astonishing sets across the USA and Europe, including at Hellfest, RoadBurn, SXSW, SuperSonic, Inferno, Wave Gotik Treffen and Stella Natura festivals.

Her voice and music can be at turns innocent, knowing, seductive and haunting. With compositions as melodic as they are experimental, you will find yourself captivated by this artist's electrifying acoustic performance of music from her upcoming album, as well as stripped down versions of Swans material.

JO QUAIL

This incredible solo cellist has been working with us since our humble beginnings. We have been delighted to watch her develop her use of loops and effects and flourish into a formidable and unique talent over the years.

Her live performances have mesmerised audiences in the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Japan.

In her live solo performance, Jo plays an electric cello and uses electronics to combine atonality with rich orchestration and deft percussive sounds to produce majestic soundscapes. She plays entirely live, with no pre-recorded elements, using her cello, effects and loop station to build layers of sound into unique and powerfully structured pieces of audio alchemy.

As her international recognition continues to grow and after working with her in St Leonard's Church in October 2011 for the spectacular event 'From The Sea To The Desert' it is a privilege to be reunited with her.

The church will be partially candlelit and will be both a cavernous and a personal, intimate setting. The audience will be both seated and standing. Early arrival is encouraged.
