Hackney On A Plate Community Project

This is a community project in association with Hackney museum, we are providing the opportunity for Hackney residents to join in on a recipe sharing workshop. In each workshop a member of the community will cook their recipe for the group, everyone else will have brought their special recipes written down and share them with everyone, talking about the why they chose this, if it has significance in their family or why it represents Hackney to them. During the workshop a photographer will record the community spirit and the stories and recipes will be collected for an exhibition at Hackney Museum, as well as the recipes and photos included in a community recipe booklet.
