Airfix Make and Takes - Week 3

The Museum will be hosting a week of model making when we will be holding ‘make and take’ sessions Monday to Friday enabling visitors to make their own 1:72 nd scale Airfix model aircraft for a very affordable £2 per kit. Sessions will run each day (Monday to Friday) from 11am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm in the Museum’s Dermot Boyle and are suitable for children aged 8 and above. Be as outrageous and as colourful as you wish with your aircraft...though personally we'd prefer them to be in the correct colours.

Please note : Make and take sessions are suitable for children aged 8 and above. Any children wishing to participate in these sessions must be accompanied by a responsible adult. All paints used in this activity are water-based. The Museum does not accept responsibility of any staining of clothing that may occur during this activity.any children wishing to participate in this experience must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is able to help them with their model making.
