Stunning international vocalist MARINA LASLO plays a one off gig next month at the Pizza Express, Dean Street.
Although renowned for Russian Romances and Classical arias (her platinum album Classic Revolution has just been released in the UK), Marina will be performing material from very different genres at the August 6th show.
Her first love of jazz, blues and musicals will be much in evidence and her band is drawn from jazz’s top drawer. Indeed her group will also feature MD Rob Baron on piano, a fast-rising jazz star in his own right. The set will include timeless numbers by the likes of Marlene Dietrich and Ella Fitzgerald as well as never-before-heard new material.
