Sourdough bread is a joy to bake and eat. Learn the art of making it from former E5 Bakehouse baker and Candlestick Maker supper club chef Ian Ballantyne.

The day’s program will include:
- How to make and look after a starter culture
- What flours work best for what type of loaf
- Importance of proving dough
- Importance of gluten and proteins in sourdough bread making
- How to shape bread
- Take home recipes of everything made in the class
- A free organic, plant based lunch of sourdough pizza and more

The fee is used to fund our program of free courses to vulnerable and low-income
community groups

Regretfully the kitchen is not wheelchair accessible
