The team behind boutique festival Winterwell will host an unforgettable Carnival afterparty on Sunday 25th August and it looks set to be a truly unmissable musical and visual feast for carnivalgoers.

Hot on the heels of their sell-out roaring twenties party in June of this year at Aynhoe Park, Winterwell are delighted to be brigning their unique parties for the first time to the Notting Hill Carnival. The party will kick off at 5pm in the spacious and versatile Westbourne Studios and will feature a host of top live acts, a huge sound system and a very special guest...

Well loved for their fancy dress themes, this year Winterwell will be going all out with their Carnival theme so expect outrageous colour, feathered headresses and show girls shimmying and shaking, as the party takes you on a Jamaican journey. Just as the carnival is now well loved for its cultural diversity, Winterwell will embrace a wide genre of music, featuring house, electro, swing, ska, dirty blues and hip hop.

Set in the heart of Gloucestershire, Winterwell is a word-of-mouth festival attracting like-minded people who go for the full festival experience, not solely for big bands and names. Last year’s main event took place in June and had a Wild West theme. Josh Ford, the Director of Winterwell Events, has organised music events for over ten years and Winterwell acts in recent years have included: Norman Jay, DJ Yoda, Cornershop, The Nextmen, The Stornerways, Slow Club, Fanfarlo, Animal Kingdom, Metronomy and many more.
