Victoria Cycle Safety Event

VICTORIA BID OFFERS BIKE SAFETY BLITZ

Following the success of their first-ever Cycle Safety event earlier in the summer Victoria Business Improvement District (Victoria BID) are promoting their second event encouraging cyclists to be aware of the dangers on the roads.

Cycle enthusiasts in Victoria and surrounding areas are invited to drop in from 7.30am to 2.30pm on Wednesday 7th August at Cardinal Place to take advantage of the free events including bike safety and maintenance checks, marking and registration at the Cycle Surgery. The Metropolitan Police will also be on hand demonstrating vital road positioning with a heavy goods vehicle for cyclists to experience exactly what drivers can really see when they’re on the road.

Victoria BID is the body representing the beating heart of over 250 businesses in the area. Victoria BID aims to create a more appealing environment for people to work and live by making Victoria safer, cleaner and greener, economically prosperous and above all a destination of choice for business, visitors and tourists.

The event forms part of the BID’s Safe and Secure initiative which aims to ensure Victoria is a safe and secure district for businesses and visitors.
