Weekly workshops for very young filmmakers. Each Saturday, the Shooting Stars meet to explore activities in film, drama, music and art as they work on creative film projects with our Early Years specialists. These workshops are carefully designed to inspire creativity and imagination as well as helping to develop creativity and confidence. Each term they produce a DVD of work to share at home and contribute towards an annual Red Carpet Premiere screening event.

Weekly workshops sessions encouraging a range of creative skills in filmmaking as well as a chance to make new friends and gain in confidence. Each Saturday, members work towards different film projects to produce their own portfolio of short films. They explore different film styles and conventions from around the world and from history, as well as developing a host of practical skills in directing, acting for camera, camera operation, scriptwriting, set and costume design, editing and even more. Perfect for building confidence, communication skills and inspiring young imaginations. Each term the groups produce a DVD of their film collections to share at home and also produce films for an annual Red Carpet Premiere each Autumn.  


Studio Start Ups (Age 14-17)

Weekly workshops sessions encouraging a range of creative and technical skills in filmmaking. Each Saturday, members work towards producing their own film concepts, developing projects to produce their own portfolio of short films. Working as a production company, they explore different film styles and conventions from around the world and from history, as well as developing a host of practical skills related to professional filmmaking, including directing, acting for camera, camera operation, scriptwriting, set and costume design, editing and even more. Perfect for budding young filmmakers to build confidence, communication skills and inspiring young imaginations. Each term the groups produce a DVD of their film collections to share at home and also produce films for an annual Red Carpet Premiere each Autumn.
