7:30pm
A virtuoso double bass player, Chris is one of the few musicians who have established successful careers in both the Jazz and Classical fields. His CV is vast, including work with the likes of Kenny Wheeler, Andy Sheppard, the Academy of St Martin-in-the Fields and the Kronos Quartet. He is also one of the busiest studio musicians around, with over 25 years worth of albums, Film and TV soundtracks to his name. The gig tonight will also feature fellow studio players, the great composer, vibes player and percussionist Frank Ricotti, and 606 regular, guitarist John Parricelli.

“..Bass virtuoso” Jazz UK

10:15pm
Performing since the age of 15, Frank has cemented a place as one of the finest pianists in the UK over the last decade. Receiving a musical scholarship to the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston in the late 1990’s, he returned to Britain to join forces with Gilad Atzmon in what would eventually become the Orient House Ensemble. This led to a number of album releases, including the fantastic “Exile” which received the “BBC Jazz Album Of The Year 2003” award, regular European tours and performances at some of the biggest Jazz festivals worldwide. Frank has also performed with a who’s who of UK jazz greats including Peter King, Julian Arguelles, Julian Siegel, Don Weller, Alan Barnes and Iain Ballamy. A highly melodic playing style combined with great technique ensures that this gig will be a treat to savour. The trio is completed by two of the most talented musicians around, Dave Whitford on bass and Enzo Zirilli on drums.

“Frank Harrison is one of the most talented young musicians I have heard” Ronnie Scott
“His talent shines among his peers” Julian Joseph
