Protection plan company SquareTrade searches for the country's most mischievous pet to become official doggy device tester

WHAT? This summer, protection plan company SquareTrade is looking to recruit the UK's naughtiest dog to become the company's new device tester. The search is on to find the best dog for the challenge.

New research commissioned by SquareTrade reveals that man's best friend may not be as loyal when it comes to devices. In fact, according to the findings, on average pet owners spend almost £300 replacing electronics that have been damaged by their pooches! Chewing and biting reportedly causes 60% of this damage, but one in five men claim their pet has vomited, and even urinated, on their electronics! Over a third of pet owners blame this bad behavior on their pets being bored, and one in four even said it was because their pet was seeking attention.
