Freeform Movement

What it is: It’s freestyle movement to music in a large open room. It’s creative, an exploration of moving in a fresh, new way. It’s also exercise, a mood-­boosting cardio workout. It relieves stress, and it’s meditative. There are no specific moves to learn or follow, rather it’s an individual exploration. You might think of it as dance that feels good rather than dance that looks good. Or perhaps think of it as dancing like you would in your living room alone but with people. Expect a safe, respectful and non-judgmental space. Set in a smoke-, drug- and alcohol-free environment. The music is recorded, and eclectic.

Who: Open to everyone - absolutely no experience in dance or meditation is needed!

Cost: None - it’s free!

When: Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, 18:00, at Unity. Sessions start 21 September.
