Shab e Shehr – A Night of Persian Poetry, Food and Song

As aspects of Armajani's work include text and paper, members of London's Iranian community will come together to share poems in Persian, both reciting their own and other iconic poems by the likes of Hafez and Rumi. Iran is a country where poetry is very much part of everyday life, the delivery of which, for even those without Persian language, is as sonorous and as rhythmic as music itself.
