Chickenshed's The Government Inspector

A group of small town, money grabbing officials get the shock of their lives when they learn that a Government Inspector is being dispatched to investigate their town and all its dealings.

Based on Nikolai Gogol’s renowned 1836 play, and updated for Chickenshed with original music and witty songs, this is an energetic comedy of errors with biting satire and madcap twists and turns that will leave audiences laughing at the town’s all to recognisable characters.
