On the first weekend of October artists and makers across the borough of Lambeth will be opening their studios and work spaces to the public.
Now in our fifth year this festival of art just gets bigger and bigger with more and more exhibitors taking part showing an ever increasing range of work. Open venues cover the whole of the borough; from Stockwell to Streatham, Clapham to West Norwood. Check our web map to find the latest venues to join this exciting celebration of South London creativity cool.
There are a variety of locations to visit including artists' homes, work studios, pop-up spaces and our hub venue the Portico Gallery in West Norwood. There will also be a broad range of work on show including Brockwell Park prints by Kate Bose, intricate felt work by Kim Winter, the moody portrait work of Rebecca Fontaine-Wolf and colourful paintings of Brixton life by John Bateson. This event is a great opportunity for visitors to meet artists and makers face to face and get a real insight into the methods and thinking of South London's creative community.
