To celebrate 25 years of delivering meals to people living with HIV, The Food Chain is taking a walk down memory lane.

On Saturday 21 September, The Food Chain will be navigating the pavements and pathways of London to mark a very special anniversary. It is nearly 25 years since our first meals were delivered to the homes of people living with HIV, so we are celebrating by holding our first ever sponsored walking event, the Silver Apple Walk.

The route will encompass the three kitchens we currently use to deliver our vital nutrition services for people living with HIV, as well as some other venues very close to our hearts. We begin at the Albrighton Community Centre, East Dulwich, before heading West across Battersea Park and North towards Soho and St Paul's Actors Church, the scene of countless Food Chain fundraisers. The second half of the walk journeys through Regents Park and via the Highgate Centre in Kentish Town, prior its culmination with champagne and cake at Acorn House.
