Stylish crooner Paul Ryan returns to the Hippodrome for a series of special guest nights featuring a wide variety of performers guaranteed to delight audiences. Naturally, Paul will delve further into his vast repertoire of standards, some familiar, many less so, all delivered with his trademark wit and impeccable phrasing and, as ever, he is joined by the incomparable pianist

Kenny Clayton (a true Hippodrome veteran who first appeared at the venue in its Talk of the Town days almost 50 years ago as musical director for such stars as Shirley Bassey and Matt Monro. "Paul Ryan is a cool baritonal swinger along Sinatra lines and I jsut love his selection of Gershwin, Cole Porter and Rodgers and Hart with witty jazz piano accompaniment by Kenny Clayton" - Michael Coveney, Whats on Stage.

Paul and Kenny's first featured guest is the unclassifiable brilliant Miss Hope Springs. Towering blonde bombshell Miss Hope Springs is the creation of award-winning composer/lyricist Ty Jeffries (son of the late British screen legend Lionel) who is both an accomplished musician and a sublime "gender illusionist". His alter ego Miss Hope Springs is a unique "sit-down comedienne" who tells scandalous stories about her fictitious career in Tinseltown as she bewitches the audience with a repertoire of self-penned songs incorporating Jazz, Swing, Blues and Bossa Nova. "The songs are Bacharach/ Sondheim wonderful.. just with better jokes" - Clair Woodward, Sunday Express.

Alongside each show's featured guest, you can expect a few surprise guest spots from performers who are just "passing through". So join us for a unique evening of music and laughter
