On October 15th, The Savoy Museum will unveil a new exhibition that gives a rare glimpse into the life and career of Frank Sinatra, as well as his love of Jack Daniel’s. Located in The Savoy, London, the exhibition celebrates Sinatra’s loyalty to the Tennessee Whiskey and the timeless relationship between them both.

Open for one month only, the exhibition will showcase a unique collection of Frank Sinatra memorabilia, including telegrams between the singer and Grace Kelly, rare postcards of the Rat Pack, programmes from the Vine Street Theatre in 1944 and signed images of the world famous singer, along with memorabilia from The Savoy archives, such as original Frank Sinatra bar bills.

The collection will also feature an original bottle of Jack Daniel’s and Frank Sinatra’s very own Jack Daniel’s Country Club badge. This rare badge features Frank’s personal Jack Daniel’s Coat of Arms, which was given to his closest friends and worn on many of Frank’s own blazers throughout his life, even at a rehearsal for the inauguration of John F. Kennedy.

The exhibition marks the launch of Sinatra Select, a new release from Jack Daniel’s that boasts a bold oak flavour, rich amber colour and exceptionally smooth vanilla finish. Sinatra Select is crafted from special ‘Sinatra barrels’ – each hand selected by Master Distiller Jeff Arnett – and bottled at 90 proof. The bold whiskey embodies the smooth, bold character of Frank Sinatra and his impeccable taste.

As Frank Sinatra’s preferred hotel in London, The Savoy provides the perfect setting for the exhibition. Visitors can also try the Ol’ Blue Eyes cocktail in the hotel’s dramatic Beaufort Bar; a tribute to Frank Sinatra that completes the experience.

The exhibition is free to attend, running from October 15th until November 15th 2013. Located to the left of the American Bar, The Savoy Museum is a permanent fixture in the hotel, featuring showcases and photography displays that illustrate the hotel’s celebrated history. Highlights include a first edition Harry Craddock’s Savoy Cocktail Book, Noel Coward’s lighter and cigarette case – and Marlene Dietrich’s guest card, showing her request that 12 pink roses and a bottle of Dom Perignon be in her room on her arrival. The Savoy Museum, with its own bar area, can be hired as a unique location for guests to enjoy a cocktail among the archives.
