Featuring films of 30 mins or less, the heart of the Swedenborg Short Film Festival is to showcase the latest new and established talent. Submissions have been invited on a variety of themes and genres, with priority given to concepts encountered in the work of scientist, philosopher, theologian and visionary, Emanuel Swedenborg (1688 – 1772).
The shortlisted selections for 2013 will be screened to a public audience at Swedenborg Hall, ‘one of London’s most atmospheric venues’ (The Guardian). At the closing of the festival an award will be given for Best Film, chosen by the judges (TBA).
