SKA NIGHT

P45:
The six piece band- bass player, Rob Sigston, lead singer Jack Kendall, drummer, trumpeter Colin Gram, saxophonist Kamil Gorski, guitar player Neil Reed, and Dustin Lee-Burgess on the drums - will be doing a one off gig at The Birds Nest on Friday 13th of December 2013.

Jack said: “We don’t do pubs, but it is good to get back to the grass roots.
“The audience that you get in the pubs are always honest and if you’re rubbish they will tell you.”

The group started out as a rock tribute band performing in pubs in Havering and Essex.

After a few changes to the line up a year ago, they decided to change direction.
Jack said: “There were a lot of other bands doing covers and when Rob joined he started writing his own songs and it took us in the direction of ska/mod and everyone loved it.”

In October last year, the band’s hard work started to pay off when they signed up with record label 54-56.

They have also released two singles, Cold Shivers and Top Floor, which have both made it into the top ten of the UK Reggae charts.

They have gone on tour as a supporting act with Bad Manners, The Beat, The Cockney Rejects and many more.
