Ever wondered what might have happened if you’d persevered with those piano lessons as a kid? Ripley’s Believe It or Not! London could just have the answer.

Musical prodigy Curtis Elton has long since graduated beyond practising his scales and playing ‘Chopsticks’. Aged just nine he’s the youngest person in the world to gain an ATCL diploma (equivalent to first-year degree level) and has just made his first album.

The pint-sized pianist will be showing off his talents at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! London – the capital’s only attraction dedicated to the weird and wonderful – with a special performance on at Ripley's Believe It or Not! London.

Playing tracks from his recently released CD ‘Daydreams’, Curtis’s repertoire includes fresh interpretations of much-loved classical pieces by Mozart, Bach and Schubert. He’ll be playing from 4pm-6pm, as well as taking time to talk to fans and sign copies of his recording.

The performance tops a busy year for Curtis. Aged eight he passed his Grade 8 piano exam and he’s since been involved in promotional work for Disney and Gap clothing as well as playing a master class at the Royal College of Music with world-renowned conductor Benjamin Zander.

Head into the attraction for other noteworthy wonders including a portrait of Michael Jackson made from sweets, the Beatles made from chewing gum and a portrait of Whitney Houston made out of tape from a cassette. Or get up close and personal with real fossilised dinosaur eggs, marvel at the life-sized knitted Ferrari created from 12 miles of wool and check out a painting created by a horse. Families and friends can also compete in navigating their way around the Mirror Maze and battle to see who is the fastest to complete London’s largest LaseRace.
